ABOUT PAVIA
Pavia is a university city in Lombardy, about 35 km south of Milan, built around one of Italy’s oldest universities (founded in 1361). Its historic centre is compact and walkable, with porticoed streets, medieval towers, the Certosa di Pavia nearby, the 14th-century Castello Visconteo, and the Ticino river running alongside the city.
