Associate Professor of Linguistics and Glottology, Department of Humanities, University of Pavia. Director of the international Master's programme in European Languages, Cultures and Societies in Contact (EC2U). AILC Steering Committee member. Research: lexical semantics, corpus-based computational linguistics and the Generative Lexicon framework.
